Once you enter the main gates of the Playa Nueva Romana residential complex, lush greens and harmonious natural surroundings welcome you. As our guest, you can enjoy full access to the Beach Club & Restaurant where you can relax in the sun either poolside or on the beach; a multi-sport athletic field with tennis court, basketball court, fitness center and children’s play area; and one of the most prestigious golf courses in the Caribbean with a country club styled clubhouse and pro shop - all within walking distance!
There are 2 resorts - Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville (luxury, adults only resort with 2 pools, 6 restaurants, 3 bars and a spa) and the Grand Bahia Principe La Romana (family resort with 1 pool, 5 restaurants, 3 bars and a spa) – inside Playa Nueva Romana which you’ll have access to if you purchase a “Day Pass” at the front desk of either of the resorts.
The 24/7 gated, secure complex is only 45 minutes from the Santo Domingo International Airport and 15 minutes from La Romana International Airport. Nearby are Casa de Campo, Bayahibe and Juan Dolio where you can book day trips, excursions and other activities.

THE SPACE
On the first floor, the villa has 1 bedroom with a full size be, a full bathroom, modern style fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and living room where you can either watch a movie or have a drink and just sit back and relax. For your convenience there is unlimited WIFI and 2 televisions with over 140+ channels in both English and Spanish.
The second floor consists of 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The terrace off of the master bedroom is very spacious and has a large hot tub. The second bedroom has a smaller balcony perfect for getting some fresh air and watching sunrises and sunsets.
Outside, in the manicured backyard, you’ll find our pool (and pool floats), a BBQ grill, 2 lounge chairs and other seating.

There is an electric, 6 passenger golf cart available for rent on a per day basis. The cost is $35.00 (USD) per day and if rented, it must be for the entirety of your stay. This is a great way to get around in the complex when the weather is just a little too hot to walk around

"The Villa has everything one would need to have a fabulous vacation. It is beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The outdoor space with the pool is as nice as the interior. The linens and towels are luxurious and there are plenty with extra provided. We loved the comfortable beds and slept so well. The kitchen was very well supplied with all the cooking and serving needs for our family. The best intranet and television service that we have experienced in the DR. The Beach Club and swimming area were postcard beautiful.
